The objective of the projects is to bring attention to water issues. It is our aim to increase awareness of water issues, both on a global and local level. To align this aim with the directions of the Forum, the projects follow the same thematic approach as has been designed for the Forum.

The projects correspond well with all these themes. First of all, by showing the experience and vision of children from different locations, the projects directly show the local aspects and implications of global water issues. In addition, the diverse regions visited and discussed in the projects have been chosen based upon the fact that these all deal in one way or another with different water issues. This way all five themes will be covered as a main or supporting theme in the various parts of the projects.
